From here the rest of the Joker's henchmen are mostly based off the comics. During this time, he has no choice but to wear the infamous Joker face. The Joker appears in the first movie and the Joker starts getting his revenge on Batman by having a lot of hits done onhis family and his girlfriend Barbara Gordon. Now when I say that we've been introduced to the rest of the villains already, you might be asking yourself 'Well, who's next?' Obviously this would lead to the destruction of Wayne Tower, the police station and even the district attorney's office. Well, the plot of the movie was that the Joker has been made mayor of Gotham and decides to start a war between two different gangs and unfortunately his comic book interpretation of the Joker being the only one willing to get rid of criminals never came to pass, so he needs to create one. I love the fact that we were able to get a direct shot of The Joker in the movie, especially in the final battle when he breaks through the glass of Wayne Tower. He took most of his cues from the previous Batman movies. This is where the Joker makes an appearance. The whole movie was filled with lots of references and I was always trying to figure out if these were in the movie or not. Be careful though, I'm about to reveal a lot of clues and a lot of them are Batman villains that you haven't seen yet, but as the Joker is a villain that every other character tries to take down, he makes for an interesting and fun addition to the Batman series.

Just because you've watched the movie a hundred times doesn't mean you still don't get the gist of how they tie it all together, do you? Sure, we've been introduced to some of his henchmen and all of them certainly have their fun moments and really portray their own unique style, but the Joker was one of the best parts of the entire series and I personally love the man so I hope you'll give him the justice he deserves.Р”Р„nd who could forget all the classic and perhaps my favorite villains in the history of comic books.

Batman: The Dark Knight is now available on DVD and that includes the Joker.
